By using FictionCrafts you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the site.
Our content
All guides, playbooks, illustrations, and page copy on FictionCrafts belong to us. You are welcome to read, quote briefly with credit, and share links. You may not republish, resell, or bundle our material without written permission.
Your content
Anything you send us — a manuscript excerpt, a pitch, a question — stays yours. By sending it you give us permission to read it and reply to you. We will not publish it without asking first.
Advice, not guarantees
Our guides reflect what works for working authors. Publishing outcomes depend on your book, your market, and your effort, so we cannot promise sales, rankings, or acceptance by any retailer.
Free and paid access
Parts of FictionCrafts are free to use. Where a paid service, package, or membership applies, the price, scope, and delivery timeline are confirmed in writing before any payment is taken.
Payments and refunds
Paid work begins once payment is confirmed. If we have not started work, you can cancel for a full refund. Once work is under way, refunds cover the portion not yet delivered.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, scrape, overload, or misuse the site, and do not use our forms to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading content.
Third-party links
We sometimes link to retailers, tools, and other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or terms.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
